Wapiti Energy’s current areas of operation are the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain regions, but we are open to opportunities in all US Basins. Here are just a few of the current investments:
Garden GulchColorado
Located in Garfield County, Colorado. 6,314 gross and 1,963 net acres in the field operated by Berry Petroleum. Currently there are 124 wells producing approximately 4,100 MCFE/D from the Mesaverde formation. Wapiti believes that the acreage holds over 400 10 acre well locations that will be economic when gas prices improve.

Development overview: Tight sand natural gas development
Lower Wilcox ExplorationEast Texas
Located in Newton, Jasper and Hardin Counties, Texas. Wapiti has been exploring seismically controlled deep Wilcox horizons and is interested in continuing development of this exciting extension of the historically prolific Wilcox formation.

Development overview: Wilcox Exploration
Uintah BasinUtah
Located in Carbon, Duchesne and Uintah Counties, Utah. Wapiti owns an interest in 42,138 net acres. The leases currently have 135 wells producing approximately 7,500 MCFE/D from the Green River, Wasatch/Mesaverde and Mancos formations. Wapiti believes there are over 5,000 potential wells on this acreage to be drilled when warranted by higher gas prices.
