As President and CEO, Bart is responsible for strategic leadership and management of all company activities. Prior to joining Wapiti Energy in 2005, Bart worked at Waste Connections, Inc. in multiple management roles and served in the U.S. Army in 1st Ranger Battalion and as an Infantry Officer. He has B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a member of IPAA, TIPRO, and Houston Producers’ Forum.
Ms. Bond an author and lecturer on corporate security law issues, and has served as Adjunct Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Houston Law Center. Ms. Bond is a member of the Limited Liability Company, Partnership and Unincorporated Entity Committee and the Private Equity Venture Capital Committee of the American Bar Association. She is licensed in Texas and Colorado.
Steve oversees all geological and geophysical evaluations. He has been in the oil and gas industry for 34 years and has a B.S. in geology from Eastern Illinois University and an M.S. in geology from Penn State University. Steve is past-President and Honorary Life Member of the Houston Geological Society and currently Vice President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
Roger has worked as the Reserves and Budget Manager at Wapiti Energy since 2009, and conducts reserve evaluations for company projections, project approval and acquisitions – all backed up by over 35 years of experience. His responsibilities include supporting company SEC reserves for reserve audits and associated loan valuations, managing annual budget development and forecasting, and assessing past project performance.
Renita has been with Wapiti Energy since 2011 and oversees the HR and payroll functions for the company. She is recognized as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Bradley maintains Wapiti’s banking relationships and prepares financial projections and forecasts. He has 22 years experience in commercial lending with PNC Bank, GE Capital and HSBC, and has been a member of the Board of Managers of Chameleon Cold Brew, and the Board of Directors of Mountain Molding, LLC and Flexible Lifeline Systems, Inc. Bradley earned a Fine Arts degree from Miami University, and an MBA from DePaul University.
Alex has been with Wapiti since 2015. He is responsible for keeping all aspects of the company's IT systems operating properly. He cannot say enough good things about the positive and relaxed group of professionals that he works with. This makes for an exceptional corporate culture.
Ian joined Wapiti in 2015 and manages the company’s gathering/processing operations, field optimization and capital projects. He has 22 years of domestic and international technology development and major capital project management experience, and is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
Since joining the team in 2014 Engineering Technician Jeanne LeBlanc maintains the ARIES database for every property Wapiti Energy owns, and provides technical support to engineers and geologists during the reserve analysis and evaluation process.
Chuck Nye has been with Wapiti Energy since 2007, and serves as an Operations Support Manager ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards, including filing paperwork with the necessary agencies. His favorite part about working for the company is its family-oriented environment populated by friendly, approachable professionals. He is a 20-year veteran of the United States Army.
Cindy oversees accounting and has supported the team since 2010. She has experience in many diverse industries and has a BS in Accounting from University of Houston and MS in Business Administration from Capella University. Cindy is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas and a Certified Financial Planner.
