Prior to joining Wapiti Energy in 2005, Bart worked at Waste Connections, Inc. in multiple management roles and served in the U.S. Army in 1st Ranger Battalion and as an Infantry Officer. He has B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a member of IPAA, TIPRO, and Houston Producers’ Forum.

Mike Angus joined the Wapiti team in 2020. He has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1982. The Uintah Basin has been his primary address for the majority of his career. He has worked in industry disciplines which include oilfield chemical, drilling, well completion, safety management & production. His career has been spent working in numerous fields in the “Rocky Mountain” States which has provided a diversity of production methods.

She is licensed in Texas and Colorado.

Steve oversees all geological and geophysical evaluations. He has been in the oil and gas industry for 34 years and has a B.S. in geology from Eastern Illinois University and an M.S. in geology from Penn State University. Steve is past-President and Honorary Life Member of the Houston Geological Society and currently Vice President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Lannon Floyd is the compression foreman for the Raton field in New Mexico with 25 years of experience. He manages the daily operations of multiple compressors, including preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting mechanical issues and equipment overhauls. In addition, Lannon also handles dehydration units, injection pumps, backup generators, road and location maintenance, power line and pipeline maintenance and manages the gate office. He has Bachelor’s degrees in Business Finance and Ag business as well as an associate of applied science in automotive repair.

Warren Frederickson has been the communications / SCADA technician for the Raton, NM asset since 2012. He has 38 years of communication experience and has worked for several companies beginning with Pacific telecom . Warren has been utilized as a specialist to install and upgrade communications and SCADA systems in multiple locations across the US. Warren’s hobbies are fishing, fishing and more fishing.

Randy Jorgensen is the compression foreman for W Tavaputs field in Utah. He oversees day to day operations of twenty compressors at three different gas plants with 15 years of experience. Randy manages and provides direction for several Wapiti compressor technicians along with supervising various contract crews such as electricians, pipeline welders, construction and mechanical workers. The extreme hot and cold weather conditions provide many challenges for operating equipment in Northeast Utah.

Randy Madison has been the health, safety and environmental specialist for Wapiti since April 2019. In addition to his 13 years of gas field experience, he has 20 years of hazmat expertise with the local fire department. His responsibilities are to promote, implement and train everyone on field safety for multiple assets in the Rocky Mountain Area. Additional responsibilities include reporting/investigating accidents and environmental incidents.

Mike Mattorano has been the field superintendent for the Raton asset in New Mexico nearly seven years. He has 25 years of experience with coal bed methane operations in the Raton Basin. Mike worked his way through the ranks from roustabout, lease operator, measurement technician, production supervisor to field superintendent. Mike utilizes his field knowledge combined with his broad experience level to manage the daily field operations. We joined the Wapiti team in April 2019 and we couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with.

Arthur joined Wapiti in 2018 and is responsible for asset performance, production optimization, and artificial lift surveillance of the Riverbend, Natural Buttes, and Wyoming fields. His 12 year industry experience includes subsurface reservoir engineering, development planning, production engineering, and hydraulic fracturing across the United States. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Wapiti provides a challenging and rewarding environment to apply these skills and opportunity to maximize asset value with the support of a close knit team.

Jeff Stringham brings a 23 year industry background to his production supervisor position in Utah. He has served as the production supervisor for West Tavaputs field since 2006. Jeff has spent most of his life working and recreating in the West Tavaputs area. He believes in providing positive energy to his team and collaborating with others to solve operational challenges.

Roger has worked as the Reserves and Budget Manager at Wapiti Energy since 2009, and conducts reserve evaluations for company projections, project approval and acquisitions – all backed up by over 35 years of experience. His responsibilities include supporting company SEC reserves for reserve audits and associated loan valuations, managing annual budget development and forecasting, and assessing past project performance.

Renita has been with Wapiti Energy since 2011 and oversees the HR and payroll functions for the company. She is recognized as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Bradley maintains Wapiti’s banking relationships and prepares financial projections and forecasts. He has 22 years experience in commercial lending with PNC Bank, GE Capital and HSBC, and has been a member of the Board of Managers of Chameleon Cold Brew, and the Board of Directors of Mountain Molding, LLC and Flexible Lifeline Systems, Inc. Bradley earned a Fine Arts degree from Miami University, and an MBA from DePaul University.
